Operations Coordinator - Import Sea Focus with ref.

Due to a sustained period of business growth, this international freight forwarder located in Botany is seeking to recruit an Operations Coordinator to manage end-to-end operations (mostly import sea) processes. You must have ocean freight forwarding operations experience in the local Australian market in order to be considered for this role.

Duties and responsibilities:

Job registration
Monitoring cargo availability and clearance status
Cargo automation
Organising and lodging underbond movements
Finalising invoices to clients, overseas offices and third parties
Monitoring movement of transhipment cargo
Collection and handover of delivery orders and EDO's
Cartage coordination
Liaising with carriers, freight forwarders, overseas offices, customers, suppliers and internal staff

Role Requirements:

Import sea freight forwarding operations experience essential
Exposure to (or willingness to learn) export sea freight forwarding operations
Cargowise experience highly desirable
Computer literacy in MS Office applications
Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Excellent communication skills - written and oral
Ability to prioritise, follow through and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and contribute to team outcomes
Customer service focus
