Junior Customs Broker with ref. 3929353

This international freight forwarder is searching for a Junior Customs Broker. They are open to someone who has just obtained their Australian Customs Broker License, as long as you're experienced in classifying/compiling in Australia. You can be based in Sydney or Brisbane.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Licensed Customs Broker
Knowledge in classifying and compiling
Checking and lodging entries
Processing EFT payments
Applying for tariff concessions
Preparing refund/duty drawbacks
Customs Tariff and Valuation
Free Trade Agreements

Role Requirements:

Current Australian Customs Broking License
Experience in compiling and classifying
High degree of numeracy, literacy and analytical skills
Commercial focus and excellent customer service skills
Adaptable, ethical and hands-on approach
Ability to effectively interact and network with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate professional movement of all shipments
First-class communication skills - written and verbal
Ability to prioritise and time-manage
Attention to detail
