Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain truck and trailer fleet through scheduled service and repair
- Allocate and schedule small driver/vehicle fleet incl CoR adherence
- Manage people - workshop and drivers - recruitment, selection, induction, performance, training, rostering and payroll
- Administration - invoicing, purchase orders, run-sheets and reporting
- Control costs and inventory - procurement and stock levels
- Liaise with internal and external customers
- Champion safe, secure and well-maintained physical resources
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanical processes - trade qualification (Cert III Heavy Vehicle) an advantage
- Valid driver's license - minimum HR essential (and willingness to upgrade if required)
- Extensive component knowledge essential
- Computer literacy - MS Office
- Communication with drivers, staff and managers to build relationships
- Versatility to prioritise workloads based on changing customer and business requirements
- Proactive approach with strong teamwork ethic and eye for detail to solve problems
- Resilient, adaptable and positive mindset with hands-on approach
