About the Role:
As an Import/Export Operator, you’ll be responsible for coordinating international freight shipments from end to end. You’ll work alongside a small, professional team, liaising with key industry stakeholders and ensuring shipments run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate import (30%) and export (70%) shipments
- Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, customs brokers, transport companies, and overseas agents
- Prepare and obtain all relevant shipping and customs documentation
- Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Support customers to ensure shipment requirements are met
- A basic understanding of freight forwarding operations (Import or Export – Sea or Air)
- Strong customer service focus
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
