This global freight forwarder is keen to add to their already impressive operations team. To be considered for this role you must possess hands-on experience in import air freight forwarding operations in the Australian market.

The role:

Monitor cargo availability and status
Coordinate airport retrievals to bond store including check-in
Report damage and surplus cargo
Cargo automation
Process documentation handovers and deliveries
Finalise job invoices and costs
Attend training courses and meetings as required
Liaising with airlines, freight forwarders, overseas offices, customers, suppliers and internal staff

The person:

Import air operations experience within freight forwarding environment
Willingness to commit to paid overtime work roster
Proficiency with IT systems including MS Office
Efficient data entry skills - speed and accuracy
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and meet deadlines
Positive and professional customer service skills
Team player with high degree of integrity and dependability
