The role would suit someone who is currently employed as an Operations or Branch Manager and looking to develop. To be an eligible candidate you must have strong operational knowledge as well as the ability to streamline and implement systems.
Duties & responsibilities include:
- Streamline and implement workflows and systems
- Manage and build agency networks
- Train, mentor and performance manage a small team nationally
- Collaborate with Directors and implement strategies
- Manage projects and new systems
- Strong understanding of operational processes in a freight forwarding environment
- Ability to lead, develop and manage teams
- Experience managing overseas agency networks
- Proficiency in industry IT systems
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
