Freight Forwarding Operator with ref. 3950536

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced and detail-focused Import & Export Operations Coordinator (air and sea) to join their dynamic freight forwarding team. In this role, you’ll manage the movement of cargo from start to finish, ensuring smooth coordination between clients, carriers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor cargo availability and status updates
Coordinate deliveries and liaise with transport providers
Communicate with airlines, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients
Send pre-alerts and follow up on shipments
Prepare and manage import/export documentation
Lodge SCA and handle ICS entries
Complete invoicing and filing tasks
Assist with additional duties

Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in freight forwarding operations - must have air/sea Import and Export
Working knowledge of CargoWise One and ICS (Integrated Cargo System)
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and a methodical approach
Ability to manage tasks from start to finish with accuracy
Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative team player
