Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide high levels of general HR support to the HR Manager (recruitment, on/offboarding, industrial relations, performance management, learning and development, employee practices, policies and procedures)
- Maintain & manage HR records, profiles & database
- Ability to read and interpret current legislation relating to award & enterprise agreements
- Ability to create and update company policies & procedures
- Maintain accurate HRIS data & prepare reports and statistics
- Assist with company projects & initiatives where required
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources is essential
- Demonstrated HR generalist experience
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS office products
- Drivers Licence and flexibility to work varied hours where required
- Ability to maintain strict privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn with a proactive, motivated attitude in a fast paced environment
