Duties and responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of major accounts
- First point of contact for all enquiries and operational issues
- Set up and onboard new accounts, creating SOP’s
- Purchase order management
- Quoting, status reporting and updating rates
- Regular client visits to build rapport and develop business
- Ensure client service levels are met
- Liaise with overseas offices, suppliers and internal departments
- International freight forwarding and/or customer service experience essential
- Proficiency in Cargowise or similar operating system
- Computer literacy in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills - written and oral
- Genuine desire to assist clients and develop relationships
- Team player
- Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment
