Operations Specialist - Key Accounts with ref.

A well-established and expanding international freight forwarder is currently seeking to add an experienced import operations professional to their well-established team. You must have extensive import operations experience in the local Australian freight forwarding market in order to be considered for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Job registration
Monitor cargo availability and clearance status
Cargo automation
Organise and lodge underbond movements
Finalise invoices to clients, overseas offices and third parties
Collect and handover EDOs
Cartage coordination
P/O management and origin shipment execution, ie. carrier/buy/sell/profit share
Shipment tracking
Status reporting
Formulate quotations
Liaise with overseas offices, internal departments, service providers and clients

Role Requirements:

Import operations experience essential
Exposure to (or willingness to learn) customer service aspects
Cargowise experience essential
Computer literacy in MS Office applications
Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Excellent communication skills - written and oral
Ability to prioritise, follow through and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and contribute to team outcomes
Customer service focus with hands-on approach
