As the Customer Service Officer is responsible for managing international customer orders from origin to destination.
Specific Responsibilities
- Manage all customer enquiries that are submitted via email, phone or customer service platform(s).
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding shipment status or delays to delivery.
- Work with the suppliers to ensure resolutions are provided for all open queries.
- Manage the supplier and customer relationships to ensure longevity of customer business and supply relationships.
- Provide shipment status and reporting for customers.
- Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience in either an operational or customer service role
- Clear understanding of Logistics/Freight processes
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to work autonomously as required
- Ability and experience to manage suppliers to achieve desired outcome
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to all levels
- Intermediate to advanced user of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Time management and problem solving skills
