Job Description

Our client is a growing International Freight Forwarder located in Banksmeadow and is seeking a Client Relationship Manager/Key Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of their major accounts. To be an eligible applicant you must have experience working for an international freight forwarder.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Managing a portfolio of major accounts
  • First point of contact for all enquiries and operational issues
  • Set up and onboard new accounts, creating SOP’s
  • Purchase order management
  • Quoting, status reporting and updating rates
  • Regular client visits to build rapport and develop business
  • Ensure client service levels are met
  • Liaise with overseas offices, suppliers and internal departments
Role Requirements:
  • International freight forwarding and/or customer service experience essential
  • Proficiency in Cargowise or similar operating system
  • Computer literacy in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills - written and oral
  • Genuine desire to assist clients and develop relationships
  • Team player
  • Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment
