Credit Controller with ref. 3130265

An opportunity exists to join the team of a well established Global Freight Forwarder Located in Botany. The company is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to manage accounts receivable, credit control and payment queries for a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in this area and previous experience working in the freight forwarding industry.

Duties and responsibilities involve:

Accounts Receivable / Credit Control
Allocations of receipts
Outstanding debtor reports
Chasing outstanding debtors
Risk analysis
Authorisation of payments
Reporting
Credit applications
Opening new accounts
Customer Service

To be a successful application you must have:

Solid and hands-on experience credit control and collection
Tertiary education and Cargowise experience is highly advantageous
Advanced skills in Excel and knowledge in ERP systems preferred
Industry experience in International Freight Forwarding
Attention to detail with excellent numerical skills
Accurate data entry skills
Excellent communication & problem solving skills
