Credit Control / Accounts Receivable with ref.

Opportunity to work for a Global Freight Forwarder located in Mascot close to train station. The company is a well-established business and due to continued growth they are currently seeking and experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join the team. The role involves invoicing and collections and the ideal applicant will have previous experience in this area.

Duties and responsibilities involve:

Daily preparation of bank statements
Updating exchange rates daily
Allocations of receipts
Outstanding debtor reports
Chasing outstanding debtors
Authorisation of payments
Sales reporting
Credit applications
Opening new accounts

To be a successful application you must have:

Experience and/or tertiary education in Accounts Payable/Receivable
Computer literacy in MS Office
Industry experience in International Freight
Attention to detail with excellent numerical skills
Accurate data entry skills
Excellent communication skills
