The role encompasses all aspects of international postal, courier and freight forwarding sales and you will be empowered to autonomously target new business opportunities and manage relationships for a portfolio of parcel and logistics clients in this space. Duties Include:
- Manage portfolio of parcel and logistics customers
- New business development
- Relationship management
- Maintain retention and growth
- Monitor service performance
- Product and market analysis
- Report on business movement, opportunities, industry trends, competitor activity and past/future sales appointments
- On-board new business - SOP generation and internal implementation
- Minimum 3-5 years of international freight forwarding and/or postal and courier sales or capability to move from senior key accounts management into sales
- Ability to convert company-provided sales leads into new business opportunities
- Capacity to develop and maintain strong business relationships
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- Proven analytical, evaluative and problem solving skills
- High degree of self-motivation and discipline
- Drive to ensure targets are exceeded
