In the role you will be assisting the General Manager with logistics and administration tasks for the distribution of products to key customers across Australia. Also working closely with production team to prepare and monitor sales forecasts.
Duties & responsibilities include:
- Coordination of logistics including new bookings for outgoing stock using key freight partners’ web portals
- Use of key customer web portals to validate stock deliveries
- Investigating and resolving order discrepancies
- Taking and entering customer orders
- Responding to general customer queries
- Coordination of promotional price periods with customers
- Assistance with maintaining sales forecasts
- Management of packaging material including raising purchase orders, ordering, managing stock levels and stocktake
- Accounts receivable and payable tasks
- Understanding of and experience with sales orders in MYOB or similar
- Familiarity with online freight booking portals
- Customer service experience
- Intermediate excel and database management skills
- Great problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analysis skills
- Some experience in inventory or purchasing
- An ability to work independently
