Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing and processing import Customs entries
- Support senior team members with classification and compliance tasks
- Communicate with clients to request information and provide updates
- Maintain accurate records and filing
- Learn tariff classification, duty calculations, valuation, and origin requirements
- Keep up to date with customs procedures and regulatory changes
- Interest in customs, freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade
- No prior customs experience required – training will be provided, but any experience in customs will be highly regarded
- Experience in CargoWise or other freight forwarding software an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Clear communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Reliable, eager to learn, and able to follow procedures
- Structured on-the-job training
