Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the HR team in the NSW & ACT region
- Remain compliant with relevant workplace legislation
- Manage the recruitment process
- Work with the training department to ensure compliance
- Interpret industrial agreements
- Provide advice with HR policies and procedures
- Be involved with disciplinary and performance management
- Prepare and issue employment documents
- Be responsible for workers compensation claims and RTW programs
- A Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Human Resources or equivalent
- At least 5 year's experience in HR
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations
- Experience in IR and enterprise bargaining
- Recruitment experience essential
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Ability to use initiative and to work independently in a busy environment
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office and internal systems
- Strong organisational and time management skills
