HR Manager (Contract) with ref. 3815868

One of Australia’s most reputable and well-established service & logistics organisations is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead their human resources team within this service industry. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions for NSW. This is a contract role for 8 months, with the possibility of an extension. You will be overseeing 3 HR Advisors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the HR team in the NSW & ACT region
Remain compliant with relevant workplace legislation
Manage the recruitment process
Work with the training department to ensure compliance
Interpret industrial agreements
Provide advice with HR policies and procedures
Be involved with disciplinary and performance management
Prepare and issue employment documents
Be responsible for workers compensation claims and RTW programs

Role Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Human Resources or equivalent
At least 5 year's experience in HR
Demonstrated experience in employee relations
Experience in IR and enterprise bargaining
Recruitment experience essential
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Ability to use initiative and to work independently in a busy environment
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Office and internal systems
Strong organisational and time management skills
