Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with experience in accounts payable? Join this freight forwarding company and support the accounting team in day-to-day financial operations. This is a full-time, office-based role with no work-from-home options.

Key Responsibilities:

Answering phones and managing customer inquiries
Capturing data and entering supplier invoices into the system (no invoice creation required)
Managing creditor accounts and ensuring timely payment of bills
Performing daily bank reconciliations
Assisting the Financial Controller with accounts payable tasks
Working in a small, close-knit team

Required Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in CargoWise (essential)
Previous experience in accounts payable, working in a freight forwarding company
Familiarity with freight forwarding processes and terminology, such as bill of loading and shipping charges
Understanding of creditor accounts and invoice processing
Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently in a small office environment
Attention to detail and a can-do attitude
