Import Sea/Cartage Operations with ref. 30254611

An opportunity exists for an experienced Import Sea/Cartage Operator with an Australian owned Freight Forwarder located in Botany. As the Import Sea/Cartage Operator, you will be an integral part of the team and accountable for the accurate and timely processing of Import Sea shipments from receipt of documentation through to delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Job registration
Monitoring cargo availability and status
Sea cargo automation
Organising & lodging underbond movements
Finalising invoices to clients and overseas agents
Third party billings
Monitoring movement of transhipment cargo
Collection & handover of delivery orders and EDO's
Organising transport
Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport companies, overseas agents, customers, suppliers and internal staff

Experience Required:

Operational experience within Freight Forwarding environment
Computer literacy in MS Word and MS Excel
Cargowise experience or similar operating systems

Accurate data entry skills
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Team player
