Their head office and warehouse is located in Revesby with an additional 11 retail stores across NSW. The Role
This is an expansion role due to company growth that supports and reports directly into the Shipping Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day shipping & order management of international and domestic products.
What you'll be doing
Manage production schedules of both local & overseas manufacturers based on purchase orders & forecasting; arrange & track ocean freight movements & costing from purchase order through to warehouse delivery; ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods; communication with suppliers, forwarders & customs brokers; assist in projects & order management; issue payment & invoicing; database management & administration.
What's required
Previous experience in import & domestic logistics; knowledge of purchase/sales contracts, and letter of credits; understanding of forecasting & scheduling; excellent customer service and problem solving skills; attention to detail with accurate data entry skills; organised with the ability to prioritise
