We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service & Import/Export Operations Coordinator to join a dynamic and supportive team based in Keilor Park.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations who enjoys managing international shipments from start to finish.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for coordinating international freight movements (imports & exports) across air freight, sea freight, and road transport, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery.
Working closely with overseas agents, customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams, you’ll ensure shipments are on track and customers are kept informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage import and export shipments end-to-end
- Coordinate air freight, sea freight, and domestic transport
- Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, and overseas agents
- Ensure customs compliance and accurate documentation
- Provide proactive updates and manage delays or disruptions
- Maintain accurate data in freight systems (TMS / CRM)
- Handle invoicing, rates, and billing queries
- Support operational efficiency and continuous improvement
- Experience in freight forwarding / logistics / supply chain
- Strong knowledge of import & export processes and customs requirements
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and system accuracy
- Experience with CargoWise or similar systems (highly regarded)
- Competitive salary: $75K – $85K + Super
