Job Description

Due to a sustained period of business growth in the local market this international freight forwarder is seeking to recruit a Customer Service Representative to manage a portfolio of established clients. You must have international freight forwarding customer service experience in the Australian market in order to be considered for this role. 

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Handling general customer enquiries and query resolution
  • P/O management
  • Shipment tracking 
  • Status reporting
  • Formulate and submit shipment quotations
  • Liaising with overseas offices, internal departments, service providers and clients
Role Requirements:
  • Customer service experience in freight forwarding environment essential
  • Cargowise experience essential
  • Computer literacy in MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team outcomes
  • Ability to prioritise and follow through
  • Attention to detail
