Job Description

Rapidly growing International Freight Forwarding is looking for a new addition to their Customer Service team. In the role you will be managing an allocated client portfolio from quotation through to pre-alert.
To be an eligible candidate you must have previous experience in either operations or customer service within a freight forwarding environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Generation of customer quotations
  • P/O management & status reporting
  • Liaising with overseas agents for shipment execution
  • Ensuring documentation is received and handed over to operations
  • Status reporting and updating clients on any changes
  • Working closely with operations and commercial team
  • Building rapport with client portfolio
  • Attending client visits with sales staff and management as required 
Role Requirements: 
  • International freight forwarding operation and/or customer service experience essential 
  • CargoWise preferred but not essential
  • Computer literacy in MS Office – MS Word and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • Excellent customer service skills with proven relationship building skills
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to team outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and follow through
