They are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join the team. In the role you will be responsible for customer related inquiries and providing assistance to the Sales team.
To be an eligible applicant you must have:
- Must have Experience working with a Freight Forwarder in either an operational or customer service capacity
- Proficient in Cargowise or similar Freight Forwarding software
- Computer literacy in MS Office – MS Word and MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Enjoy working assisting people
- Ability to prioritise and follow through
- Managing a portfolio of clients
- Purchase Order Management
- Following up and booking shipments
- Ensuring relevant documentation is received
- Negotiating rates and transits with agents and service providers
- Liaising with overseas offices and agents
- Assist in the coordination of deliveries as required
- Quotations for Air and Sea freight shipments
- Maintaining and updating client rates
- Job Invoicing and updating rates
