Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all client enquiries
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage purchase orders and provide shipment updates to clients
- Prepare quotations and assist with rate negotiations
- Maintain and update rates within CargoWise
- Follow up on documentation and ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to facilitate customs clearance
- Provide updates on cargo status, availability, and transit movements
- Prepare sea and air freight reports for clients
- Assist with coordinating deliveries and transport requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing to clients and overseas agents
- Experience using CargoWise (EDI) and MS Office is essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service within freight forwarding (Australian market preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proactive approach with solid problem-solving ability
