Job Description

Well-established domestic and international freight organisation seeks to appoint a capable and committed individual to their Sydney team. The successful applicant will possess a background of working in the Australian market, with full local work rights and ideally in freight-related administration disciplines. 

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Raise and match purchase orders for job-related costs
  • Reconcile supplier statement and prepare payments
  • Prepare and distribute invoices and associated documentation
  • Maintain transport fleet driver and maintenance records
  • Maintain petty cash and toll accounts
  • Coordinate staff travel requirements
  • Coordinate and distribute stationery orders
  • Answer and direct incoming correspondence, eg. phone calls
  • Back-up AR/AP/Administration and general office support

  • Reliable character in pressure situations
  • Adaptable nature in dealing with a variety of stakeholders
  • Time management skills and ability to plan and juggle multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Computer skills - MS Office and systems
